Putting Problem-Solving into Practice<\/b><\/h1><\/div>

Following the implementation of visual management, the executive committee wishes to take its Operational Excellence initiative a step further by adopting Structured Problem Solving. All managers must participate in an awareness-raising session and then implement a concrete solution in their own departments. In collaboration with the Operational Excellence lead, Cubik first facilitated two pilot sessions, followed by a special session for the executive committee, and then managed the remainder of the rollout over the course of one year. <\/p>\n

    The process:<\/b><\/h1><\/div>

    1. Preparation of managers for the session by <\/b>the EO coordinator (e-learning on the basics of EO and phone calls with participants)<\/li>\n
    2. 1-day training session per group of up to 10 people<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The Operational Excellence lead was present to explain the purpose of the process and provide clarification on the case studies as needed.<\/p>\n

      Start by working in small groups to solve real-world problems in order to understand the impact of the proposed methods.<\/p>\n

      1. Support for managers from <\/b>the EO advisor to finalize the Structured Problem-Solving Resolutions (RSP) initiated during training.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
