Madagascar has significant agricultural potential<\/strong> for maize production for the subregion. To support a potential relocation of production<\/strong>, it is essential to assess the island\u2019s competitiveness by taking into account several key factors, ranging from agricultural productivity to environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Mission Objective<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>

The objective wasto analyze Madagascar\u2019s competitiveness<\/strong> in maize production in order to propose appropriate and economically viable development scenarios for the subregion.<\/p>\n<\/div>

To achieve this goal, we have:<\/p>\n
