Operational Excellence Training Program.

An Operational Excellence training program trained the Executive Committee, 25 Green Belt project managers, and more than 100 managers over the course of 18 months.

Background

Following the merger of two mutual insurance companies, an Operational Excellence programwas implemented to help the group adapt to the new market environment and the digitization of customer interfaces.

The members of the Executive Committee, who are the sponsors of this program, have decided to train the entire group and support these projects.

It would have been a sure thing if:

  • The entire chain of command has been established to support the Operational Excellence initiative.

The process:

  • 3 COMEX training seminars: raising awareness, defining the strategic plan, and getting things moving (7-Territory Model).
  • Training of 25 Green Belt project managers responsible for the internal rollout of the Operational Excellence program.
  • Training of more than 100 managers in the 5-axis model.

Over the course of 18 months , the implementation of this group training program had a significant impact on the corporate culture and mobilized all stakeholders around key transformation projects for the company.

Example: Implementation of daily performance monitoring in branches using Visual Management.

Our results:
