How to (re)take control of your schedule.

The “SOS Agenda” initiative has enabled front-line managers to regain control of their schedules, improving their efficiency and making their work more comfortable.

Background

In the B2B energy services sector, a company identified signs of burnout among frontline managers in 2018 and, with support from Cubik, launched the “SOS Agenda” initiative to improve their organization and work-life balance.

It would have been a sure thing if:

  • Among the 20 managers selected, each manager who expressed a specific need saw a real improvement in efficiency and comfort at work.

The process:

The Method: A 4-phase method , with 3 in-person sessions lasting 2 hours each per manager.

How to (re)take control of your schedule.

Practical solutions implemented:

1. Reduce the number of emails you receive.

2. Establish a personal prioritization routine : manage “inputs” > prioritize > plan > review.

3. Coaching managers on delegation.

4. Taking a step back to assess the objectives and priorities of the managerial role.

Our results:

  • For 80% of managers, personal goals are achieved, and their effectiveness is enhanced.
  • A “Before and After” assessment was conducted with each manager, resulting in an average improvement of +1.
