Managing a farm that combines livestock production with extensive crop farming requires an integrated approach to ensure both economic profitability and the sustainability of agricultural practices. Optimizing herd management and crop production is essential to enhancing the overall performance of farms.
Mission Objective
The goal wasto identify performance drivers for the group’s ranching operations, restore its profitability, and ensure the long-term viability of its production sites.
Our Approach
To achieve this goal, we have:
- Assessed existing agricultural practices, both for livestock and crops;
- Identified and quantified areas for improvement in the management of 3,000 beef cattle and the cultivation of 800 ha of grains and sugar beets;
- Estimated the expected gains, which will lead to a significant increase in net income and a sustainable improvement in the site’s performance.
Toward Profitable and Sustainable Operations
This integrated approach makes it possible to restore economic profitability while ensuring the long-term viability of agricultural practices, thereby guaranteeing a sustainable balance between livestock raising and extensive crop farming.
