Assessment of farming practices and monitoring of a corn trial in Egypt.

Optimization of corn cultivation practices, including the implementation of an optimized production plan to ensure high-quality forage and secure the supply for a dairy farm.

As part of efforts to support dairy farming in Egypt, it is crucial to ensure a steady supply of high-quality local forage. To this end, optimizing farming practices and closely monitoring agricultural trials are essential strategies.

Mission Objective

The main objective was to secure the supply of forage for dairy farming by conducting a corn cultivation trial at a partner supplier’s farm, with the aim of improving the quality and consistency of production.

Our Approach

To achieve this goal, we carried out the following:

  • An analysis of existing farming practices to identify the strengths and areas for improvement in agricultural methods;
  • The development of an optimized technical plan tailored to local conditions and the farm’s needs;
  • Detailed monitoring of production operations at every stage, in collaboration with local teams, to ensure the proper implementation of recommended practices and the success of the trial.

Toward a Secure and Sustainable Supply Chain

This assessment and monitoring of the corn trial help ensure a consistent quality of forage, while strengthening the technical skills of local partners and contributing to the sustainability of agricultural practices in the region.
