Promote a Lean culture within the company.

A continuous improvement program helped spread the Lean culture throughout a large logistics group, including training of Lean champions, which led to tangible operational gains.

Background

Launch of a continuous improvement program across several logistics platforms in France, aimed at promoting a Lean culture through the training of lead representatives and support for initial projects.

It would have been a sure thing if:

  • Operating gains were achieved despite intense competition.

The process:

Definition of the Lean roadmap for implementing a continuous improvement approach within a major logistics group:

  • On-site visits to Shared Services Center locations for a 3-day assessment to confirm the scope of the projects and define a Lean strategy.

  • Green Belt training for 65 representatives in 5 countries (India, the United States, France, Poland, and Brazil).

  • Four-month coaching for improvement projects, both in person and remotely.

  • Project certification by an internal review panel.

  • Master Black Belt Training for Process Leaders.

Our results:

“A real-world experience in facilitation and the ability to get messages across.”

“Close to the field, very hands-on”
