Ensuring the local availability of these resources helps optimize the production of nutritious foods and reduce dependence on imports.

Mission Objective

The goal was to ensure the performance and long-term viability of production and supply chain systems in Africa by relocating the production of some 30 raw materials used in nutritional foods.

Our Approach

To achieve this goal, we have:

  • Assessed the potential for sourcing raw materials from various African countries;
  • Developed several development scenarios, taking into account local needs and technical and economic feasibility;
  • Aligned the recommendations with the group’s overall strategy to ensure consistency and sustainability.
