The development of an efficient and sustainable livestock and meat sector is a strategic driver for stimulating economic and social growth in Chad. The establishment of special industrial zones (ZIS) helps to structure and industrialize the sector while promoting investment and public-private partnerships.

The goal wasto accelerate Chad’seconomic and social development by establishing an efficient, sustainable, and industrialized national livestock and meat sector.
Our Approach
To achieve this goal, we have:
- Assessed the potential for industrialization of the livestock-meat sector on a national scale;
- Defined a 10-year development plan, including the establishment of special economic zones throughout the country;
- Detailed the investments, developed a financial model for the project, and clarified the roles of the stakeholders in order to ensure and optimize implementation.
