Against a backdrop of growing environmental challenges and increased competition in agricultural markets, theAlUla region is taking action to strengthen the economic viability and resilience of its farms. The development of multi-crop pilot farms is a key strategy for testing innovative practices and sharing expertise with local producers.
Mission Objective
The goal was to support and facilitate the modernization of farms in AlUla, while helping farmers develop their skills, in order to ensure stable production, optimize agricultural practices, and highlight the competitive advantages of local farms.
Our Approach
To achieve these goals, we have implemented a personalized approach:
- Identification of farm-specific strategies to strengthen their local differentiation and highlight their competitive advantages;
- Targeted deployment of investments, selected to modernize infrastructure, improve production systems, and support environmental sustainability;
- A training program for farmers, tailored to identified needs and newly introduced practices, designed to develop their technical and managerial skills

This program helps create a network of exemplary pilot farms capable of disseminating best practices throughout the region. Thanks to this approach, modernized farms benefit from improved productivity, a greater ability to adapt to environmental challenges, and increased market value for their products.
